Bogdan Pasaniuc develops statistical and computational methods to understand the genetic basis of disease, focusing on integrative genomics, heritability and population structure. Before UCLA, Bogdan was a postdoc at the Harvard School of Public Health and in the Program in Medical and Population Genetics at the Broad Institute in the group of Alkes Price. Prior to that, Bogdan completed a postdoc at the International Computer Science Institute in Berkeley, CA. Bogdan obtained his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Connecticut working in the lab of Ion Mandoiu and B.Sc. from the Faculty of Computer Science, “A.I. Cuza” University of Iasi, Romania in 2003. Recently updated resume.
