Work by Dr. Sam Abplanalp was recently featured in a news article from the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation. Dr. Abplanalp's work, which was recently published in JAMA Psychiatry, used network analyses to identify symptom patterns in people with schizophrenia that are associated with functional outcomes: anhedonia is related to global functioning while avolition is related to work outcomes.
