The news feature provides a web-blogging feature where faculty can highlight important achievements and awards. It is built on a database where information can be dynamically displayed anywhere on the site. It provides an additional page with more detail and social sharing functions. Lastly there is an listing of all items.
A database stores all the information that a faculty member would like to publish. Articles can be scheduled for publication and removal from the site. The number of articles dynamically listed can be changed.
