Requesting a site for your laboratory

We are here to help you to establish a presence for your laboratory in the David Geffen School of Medicine. If you are interested in a site, please take a moment to read this page in its entirety.

The steps for requesting and publishing a website.

  1. Review the following pages
  2. Complete the request form.
  3. Upon receipt of your request form, you will be contacted by one of our design specialists to finalize the theming of your site
  4. We will work closely with you to make sure your content is displayed well on the site.
  5. Once you are ready to go live - we will assist with linking your site to the url of your choice

Things to consider before requesting a website

  • Do you have a general idea of the layout of your website?
    • What pages will be linked on your navigation bar?
    • Are you going to a have a contact us page, news package, events package?
    • What are you going to let people know about (registration, events, important news, sign ups)?
    • How often do you think you can update the site?
  • Do you have existing content?
    • Do you have a backlog of photos?
    • Do you have a logo?
    • Do you have an existing social media presence?
