NOX isoforms in the development of abdominal aortic aneurysm

NOX isoforms in the development of abdominal aortic aneurysm. – Publication in Redox Biology

In this work we identified novel NADPH oxidase (NOX) isoforms that are required to induce eNOS uncoupling and formation of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), employing double knockout mice of NOX isoforms and hph-1 mice (a new model of AAA established in our lab).  The study was published in the official journal of the American Society of Redox Biology and Medicine.
