Surviving With Smog and Smoke: Precision Interventions? – Publication in Chest
Environmental pollution is a major public health problem affecting people worldwide to increase prevalence of cardiovascular, cerebrovascular and respiratory diseases. While history has proved that it takes up to half a century to solve severe pollution, we propose for the first time to prevent and treat disease in exposed individuals through strategies of precision medicine.
