Welcome to the Lai lab at UCLA! Our lab is focused on enhancing our understanding of glioma, with an emphasis on the biomolecular mechanisms that underlie glial phenotypes and drive overall patient prognosis. At the heart of our work is a passion for improving the quality of life of patients and increasing patient survivability, which is achieved through identifying novel molecular targets for gene therapies and gene therapy design.
